So, tell me about this tribe's dynamic. You were an early picker so in theory, you had a lot of influence to making this tribe what it is. Are you set up in a way you can make it to merge from here?

Okay let's talk about the Refuge tribe haha. I am both thrilled and scared with how it stacks up. Thrilled because I have a *pretty* good relationship with everyone on this tribe, scared becuase I have a *pretty* good relationship with everyone on this tribe. That means that I have to draw lines in the sand with every vote, so I'm scared for that. Not that I'm trying to pussy out, because I'm not going to do that at all. I will make my choices and OWN them, but if I can prolong that for a round or two, I will.

So let's see...

There's Jolanda and Ken. The Ménage à trois. Love them both dearly and I'm SO pumped to work with them in this game, but like, they have been super pushy on things I'm not thrilled about. I left them behind to carry out a coup on the Threesome, and they were so sloppy and messy that they just failed at it. Granted, it wasn't all their fault, because they had to trust people like Chris and Ramona, but they just didn't execute and it was annoying. And it exposed my hand, which I'm not thrilled about. And then it just made the fact that us three are a trio SO clear which I hate.

THey pick Kristina who is "a loyal fourth" lol. Knowing how subtle they just AREN'T, I did some digging and confirmed that Kristina knows she's 4 and yeah. I can only do so much to schmooze her into thinking she isn't. Like she's honestly not that great, and I could totally see through my efforts to be her BFF if I was her. There's just nothing to work with there. So either she's just playing dumb with me or she actually just is dumb.

Sarah- frustratingly hard to work with because she doesn't talk much, but ugh oh well. I *THINK* she's loyal, but I'm watching my back there.

Jane- I actually trust her a lot. She has nobody in her corner and I'm good with working with that. Unfortunately, Jolanda and Ken have pushed her to be the first boot, so yeah. Trying to stop that, but that means I have to make a stance AGAINST Ken and Jolanda. Again, I will OWN that if I have to do it, but it will be risky.

Lumping Chad and Katie together because I love them both and both have expressed that they want to work with me, but I'm wary because they are BOTH players. They can detect BS and yeah, idk.

Strategy going into the merge changing? I'm not focusing on the other tribe as much. I have relationships to exploit everywhere, so I just need to get to the merge and THEN worry about that.

I keep talking about exerting control when I can and sucking kneecaps when I can't, but this tribe has put me in a unique situation of having to do both. Idk how to really juggle that, so I'm going with my gut here.

Allies/threats on the other tribe? Allies are anyone that likes me and is willing to work with JUST me. I think that's still Lisa. Maybe just her. Threats are pairs and trios that only want me as a number. I can work that, but in a weird sort of way where I'm only along for part of the ride. I'm looking at Ralph, Vytas, and Cochran here. I could slip in there easily and go along, but if I do that, it'll be to destroy them from the inside. I have absolutely 0 interest of working with any of them.

Tribe dymanic is that Jolanda/Ken/myself are a strong trio, with Kristina as a 4th. I told Kristina that her and I are tight and Jo/Ken are tight. Idk, seemed like a good idea. Who the fuck knows.

I'm also tight with Jane, Sarah, and Jolanda, and then Katie I guess? I think that's how Jane/Sarah see that alliance, but Sarah is too smart to have just that going on.

Katie and Chad fit in there somewhere too, but nobody wants to explicitly state it. It's annoying.

Jolanda and Ken want Jane and Chad out. Two people that I really don't want going anywhere. I could let Chad or Katie go at some point, but idk. I just need to decide.

Am I set up to make the merge? Probably, assuming that this doesn't all come crashing down on me. I am feeding a lot of bullshit to a lot of people. It will catch up with me soon if I'm not careful.
