We're best friends icon_ha

He is the person I need out of this game right now. I know for a fact that he is not going to be with me. He tried to make me feel guilty with his thing about how he "saved" me, but that was when he thought I was just content being a number for him. Him trying to keep me in was not so much for my own benefit, but his. I don't hate him. I just recognize him for the threat that he is.

In my little rant there I said that this was All Stars and not Some Stars. What I need to try and hammer home with some of these players is that within every alliance of 5, there is a sub alliance of 3. That is just basic Survivor 101. We all see it happen in so many games. There are the 2 on the outs who are being duped into thinking they have a legitimate deal going.

Chad currently has a good hold on players. But the fact of the matter is, there were 2 players withing that side who picked rocks and shouldn't have. I need to exploit that and do my best to really work things back into my favour. Obviously that outcome could have been way better for me. But the way I look at it is I am still in the game, I still have Mia, and as long as we are both still here, then I see us both as having a legitimate shot at actually making something happen. I just have to get into people's heads. So many players tend to see no point at all in flipping, even if they know they are at the bottom. They figure if they flip they are just flipping from the bottom of one tribe to another. Technically, that's true. But that is only if you just flip once and then do nothing at all after that. I am trying to, at the very least, encourage players to think a little more outside the box. It's always more exciting to watch when the dynamics are so foggy and not so cut and dry. I need to get these players to see that making a move is not such a bad thing. It's only when you make just one move and never try it again does it become entirely pointless.

So my thing with Chad, I don't hate him, but I need him out of here.

If it comes down to it, would you ditch Mia to make it further in the game? Also, you mentioned that within both 5's there are sets of 3 leaving 2 outliers. Do you think the outliers are waiting for the right time to make the jump? If that's the case, how do you convince them to jump ahead of time?

Also, Do you feel as though this game is moving at a pace that is one step ahead of the obvious? I was just considering that with the Lisa vote off, it seemed as though there was a blindside to prevent another blindside (that wasn't even happening). Do you expect more players to act ahead of an obvious move and if so what's the next obvious move that you see in the future and what would acting ahead of that be?

I would never turn on Mia at all, but I have a feeling she could be leaving this game soon, unless it's me who gets voted out. I did make my target a lot bigger by putting myself out there like that. So I would never turn on Mia at all, however, what I am doing is I am finding ways to survive this game without her in the picture so that I can keep myself alive without her here. She is a great ally and she would be the one person I am always loyal to.

Right now I think my best chance at getting something else going is Debb. At least, she seems to be the one who is really willing to at least consider what I have to say about changing the game up. However, she probably thinks it's too soon to make a move. I get the impression that she wants to make some sort of move eventually, but not yet. Hopefully I can hang in here long enough to make it happen, because the last time one can be made would be final 7. Assuming this Hiva Oa slaughter continues, 7 is the last chance for the 2 on the outs in that 5. Ralph seems to be trying to approach me about the possibility of maybe making a move. Or, maybe not make a move, he mostly seems concerned with the impression that he is just a patsy for Cochran. So I am doing my best to exploit that as well. If there is genuine doubt in him, then I need to make him worried enough to want to change his position.

That 5 did go to rocks for one another. In the moment, going to rocks is a very romantic thing. IT makes alliances feel tight and that they just did something really huge together and all put their loyalty on display, but like I mentioned earlier, there were players who went to rock who should have never even considered it in the first place. Especially with how unstable our 5 is/was. You had Sarah who was all over the place and can shift loyalties based on how she feels about you that particular day. We just so happen to catch her on a day when she was pissed at Chad for leaving her out of the vote. And then there is drama between Mia and Ashley. It's dead right now, but given enough time it might raise its ugly head once more. Sure we went to rocks, but it was more or less because we knew we had no other choice and it was the logical move for us 5. As far as I'm concerned we were not a tight group at all.

And yeah, a lot of the moves made here have been just that, one step ahead of the obvious. Hell, that's why I played the idol after I found it. I was so close to playing it on Mia as well. I know how Cochran thinks. I knew that in finding it both Cochran and Lisa would have known it was gone since it was so easy to find. I had a feeling Cochran was going to try and get the vote shifted and it would be on either Mia or myself since we were the ones shipping Ralph as a possible boot. So in this game never trust the obvious boot. Mia was the target last round, so I can only imagine it's someone entirely new in this one. Could be me, but I certainly will not just accept my fate and do nothing to change my position.
