Day 29 - Tribal Council #18

Day 29 - Tribal Council #18

Postby Jeff Probst » Fri Mar 13, 2015 1:35:42 am

Welcome, Tahuata.

We'll now bring in the ever-growing jury: Katie, Lisa, Sarah, Ashley, Jolanda, Chad and Debb voted off at the last tribal council.

First thing's first: Cochran, you won Immunity and cannot be voted out tonight. Are you keeping it?

Voting is due at 8:50.

I've laid it all out there.

Cochran, the last two people that didn't listen to me ended up on the jury. I've gotten really good at being the cockroach. I'm observant. You need me around next round, I promise.

Ken, How do you convince these players to keep you in the game?

I don't see how putting you one immunity win away (a challenge I suck at, mind you) is going to be good for my game here Mia. You are the biggest threat here by a long shot and it would be suicide for anyone to keep you honestly.

I can't beg anymore. I'm being legit here. Don't let this season end with a whimper. We ALL deserve better than that.

I have made some moves in this game that most likely pissed off a lot of players on the jury. Most notable the one I made last night. I swore to Debb I would never vote against her because she helped Mia and I out by voting Chad, and then the very next round voted her out. That doesn't make me a threat, that makes me more of the jerk who is willing to do anything to get ahead, and I don't think that will get me a lot of votes from the jury.

I think you know that's not true. Take a bigger step back and look at how I've treated almost everyone the jury.

And you KNOW there's no guarantee I win that last challenge. But if you don't, you're gone too. Don't do this to yourself, and don't do it to the game.

Cochran, by getting rid of Mia, who is the next biggest target?

Carter, let's say the supposed outsider, Ken, wins Immunity next round. What do you do then?

I would say Ken, definitely.

He talks about how he told Debb he wouldn't vote for her and then fucked her over, but what about all the people that he didn't fuck over? What about all the times he voted in the minority to keep his relationships with those people on the Jury? I don't think that anyone buys the bullshit that he's some sort of non-threat here, because it's pretty obvious, to me at least, that he has a large following on the jury, whether he wants to admit to it or not.

Panic. Scramble. Hope that I'm not looked at as the biggest threat among the 3 other people (myself included, obviously) left in the game, or just hope that promises that have been made or ideas that have been pitched come through

Around the Final 8 I got into a huge fight with Ralph. The end reslut of that was that Ralph and I became a lot clsoer and he suddenly felt like he was really playing the game and could really win. He thinks he has a shot here, Cochran. And he's saying you've been distant for a few rounds here.

No matter what they say tonight, you're gone without immunity here. They all know they can't win, but the three of them together? Suddenly one of them has to.

Don't do this, Cochran. I'm not bullshitting you here. I have too much love for this game to do that.

After being incorrect about Debb/Carter flipping on you at final 7 despite everyone telling you otherwise, do you ever second-guess your perceptions?
