i tried to play so different this time. turned the gamebot off as much as i could. especially being picked to a tribe at the very end? i just tried to be nice and chill with everyone. be everyone's friend. talk to people about their jobs, about music and movies. games. and just have fun. and let people come to me with ideas and alliances when they wanted. and it was working too, oh well.

but i'm not naive enough to blame others, it's my fault. i know what happened. mia is playing hard. she worked with sarah who was feeling on the outs to get me. but mia is the one who pulled the trigger and pushed people into the turn. and that's my fault. my fault for trying to work with mia when i knew how serious she took this game. my fault for not making the people i was working with feel more secure and showing them all i could offer tem. and that's ok.

it was a fun ride.

I think it ultimately came down to you not understanding that Mia - Jolanda - Ken - Chad were all VERY close outside of this game. Not that Mia is playing with her close friendships, but a lot of players did know this and wanted to split them up. So when you joined in with those guys you made yourself the easiest target of that big alliance that everyone knew about/wanted to break apart.

I had hoped you would team upw tih the outsiders who were - Sarah / Jane / Katie and somewhat Chad, but it looked like Mia beat you to that! lol

I don't know if this is your fault at all. This all seemed to come out of nowhere but then again, I've not been watching all that closely. But when Refuge became a tribe, all my bets were on someone else leaving so good job them and theirs for flipping shit up.

this makes a lot of sense. i came to realize really fast that not knowing the past relationships/friendships was a huge detriment to me. that's why i just tried to be so relaxed with everyone. didn't want to give anyone a reason to not like me. but that also makes you an easy target like you said, sucks. but, oh well. like i say every time i play these: it was a game, and i had fun, that's what matters.

i'm hoping things are genuinely getting better irl, only time will tell. it's a work in progress that i've been giving my all to. i can only keep working for it. but things are improving, i see it everyday. i just have to keep my chin up and know that what i'm doing is making an impact and moving things in the right direction.
