Go to options - board preferences - then at the bottom there is 'My Date Format' - change the dropdown menu option to Custom... and then enter:

d-m-Y h:i:s

I use day-month-year but m-d-Y h:i:s should work as well and show seconds.

Go to Board Preferences > Edit global Settings

Then go to My date Format and choose Custom. Leave the default as is and hit submit.
